Michael is EIGHT!
It's hard to believe my little babaloo is eight years old.  He wanted a guitar for his birthday.  This will accompany the sing-along microphone he bought with his birthday money.  It is a family favorite.  He plugs in the iPhone and plays You Tube videos and sings along.  Now he tries to read the lyrics, sing and strum the guitar.

He wanted to go to Charleston for his birthday, so we drove down.  Celebrating with Maggie Moo's ice cream cake followed by a fancy dinner at The Chop House.

My cousin Chandra and family came to visit.  It was our first time meeting her daughter Maya.  The second cousins had a fun day together.

Michael and his best friend Jameson went to science camp together.  Here they are extracting DNA from strawberries.  Impressive!

They both got Flikers for their birthdays.  They are Y shaped scooters that are a blast.  Everyone wants one, including adults that pass us on the street.

 Daredevils attempting a hill.

Elizabeth was tickled to give her friend Allie a BFF necklace for her birthday.  At first Allie thought it was broken, but these new necklaces have magnets so the two halves can make a heart.

One of my favorite summer activities is berry picking.  Andrew and Michael did a lot of picking and eating, but James and Elizabeth were very hard workers.

We picked three pails of delicious red raspberries that lasted us the day.
